DPSH Testing and Coring – Sibanye Platinum Refinery

Rivicore recently completed a geotechnical investigation at Sibanye Platinum Refinery, where we carried out Dynamic Probe Super Heavy (DPSH) Testing and Concrete Core Drilling. The primary objective of this project was to assess soil stability within the refinery premises to support ongoing and future infrastructure planning.

Due to the nature of the site, security, access, and safety requirements were extremely strict. Our team worked closely with Sibanye’s safety officers to ensure full compliance with their protocols. Despite these challenges, we successfully conducted all necessary testing without delays or incidents.

We are particularly proud that our safety standards and equipment met the rigorous requirements of the refinery environment. The project was executed smoothly, with no major issues arising during the investigation.
