Rivicore recently completed a geotechnical investigation in Rosebank, where we carried out Dynamic Probe Super Heavy (DPSH) Testing . The purpose of the investigation was to confirm the depth to rock, providing critical information for foundation design before construction commences.
Accurate identification of founding conditions at this stage plays an important role in reducing risk and ensuring efficient structural design.
Our team carried out the DPSH tests efficiently, delivering reliable penetration data to assist the consulting engineers with their assessment of subsurface conditions. Working in a built-up urban environment like Rosebank requires careful planning and coordination, and we are pleased with how smoothly the project was executed.
Projects like these highlight the value of DPSH testing as a fast and effective method for profiling ground conditions and identifying rock horizons in the early stages of a development.
Rivicore is proud to support projects from the ground up and looks forward to contributing to many more developments across Gauteng and beyond.
