Pile Investigation at Hlelo River – N2 Road Upgrade

Rivicore recently completed a drilling investigation at Hlelo River near Piet Retief as part of the ongoing N2 Road Upgrade Project.

Working under Terra Strata (terrastrata.co.za), our scope included drilling over 30 pile contact points through sonic tubes to assess subsurface conditions and pile integrity.

The geology in this area presented a serious challenge, with extremely hard granite formations requiring every bit of skill, technique, and persistence from our drilling team.
Despite the demanding conditions, Rivicore successfully obtained all the required samples while maintaining high safety and quality standards throughout.
