Rotary Core Drilling – Kempton Park

We recently wrapped up a geotechnical rotary core drilling project in Kempton Park, just a few kilometres from the airport. The job involved four borehole positions, each presenting its own unique challenges due to the area’s extremely hard rock formations.

Drilling progress was slower than usual at first, with the rock layers proving far tougher than expected. However, through persistence and the use of our high-quality equipment, including triple tube core barrels, we maintained excellent core recovery throughout.

Despite the tough ground conditions, the Rivicore team completed all four positions ahead of schedule. This project is another example of our commitment to efficiency, safety, and delivering top-tier results—no matter the terrain.
