Rotary Core Drilling Project – Bon Accord Pretoria

Rivicore recently completed a successful Rotary Core Drilling investigation in Bon Accord, Pretoria — a welcome opportunity to operate closer to our home base while continuing our strong start to 2026.

The project presented some challenging ground conditions, with the site covered by approximately two metres of turf clay. Persistent rainfall during the period also created potential access concerns, as saturated terrain can quickly become difficult to navigate with drilling equipment. Despite these risks, weather conditions held long enough for our team to maintain safe access and complete the required drilling efficiently.

Through careful planning and steady on-site execution, Rivicore was able to deliver the full drilling scope within the available weather window, ensuring reliable results for the investigation while maintaining the high operational standards our clients expect.

Projects like this highlight the importance of adaptability, preparation, and teamwork in geotechnical drilling — especially when working against changing ground and weather conditions. We are proud to add the Bon Accord investigation to Rivicore’s growing list of completed projects for 2026 and look forward to continuing this momentum in the months ahead.
